Research Interests
We work on a wide range of topics in Set Theory and its applications. Our research makes
heavy use of the Forcing
technique, both in the context of Descriptive Set Theory and
the theory of Large Cardinals. We are mainly interested in the systematic study of
principles of Generic Absoluteness,
Forcing Axioms, and in
questions in infinite Combinatorics. We are also concerned with problems in the
Foundations and Philosophy of Mathematics.
One of our goals is to find applications of set-theoretic techniques in other areas of Mathematics, such as Analysis,
Topology, Algebra, and Category Theory.
We have also started a new line of research on effective and computational Set Theory.
